The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) presents "Bridging Policy and Practice: Aligning Business and Government Priorities to Scale Landscape-Level Action and Drive Synergies for COP30."
This session will facilitate dialogue between businesses and policymakers on implementing land-based solutions, focusing on identifying synergies among the three Rio Conventions in the lead-up to COP30. Drawing from WBCSD’s work in Brazilian landscapes, we will explore policy priorities for scaling landscape-level action. The discussion will explore how policymakers can leverage these examples to create an enabling environment through targeted incentives, subsidy repurposing, and strategies for de-risking farmers’ transitions to regenerative practices.
