There is increasing pressure from regulations and voluntary disclosure frameworks (e.g. CSRD and TNFD) for companies to disclose their impacts and dependencies on nature, and related risks and opportunities. The challenge with conventional monitoring techniques is that gathering location-specific and ground truthed data on nature is not practical, efficient or affordable at scale.
