Technology offers scalable solutions for corporate nature and climate action on the ground, including Africa, Indonesia, and Latin America. These tools empower communities by promoting transparency to ensure that companies and governments act responsibly and ethically. This session will showcase case studies of how three local organizations, Accelerator grantees, are using technology to strengthen corporate action and accountability: Mapping of accountability stakeholders in the Amazon (in partnership with Fundación Avina); Southern Africa Resource Watch citizen empowerment app in Africa, and Auriga Nusantara’s satellite data app for mining in Indonesia. Ultimately, accountability tools like these provide the transparency and power shifts needed for a safe and just whole Earth System.
