Reimagining Conservation: Towards a Flourishing Future – Bearing Witness: Intentionally Listening to Indigenous and Local Leaders

These sessions will create an intentional space where participants can share, listen, and collectively explore ideas for a Flourishing Future rooted in a reimagined approach to conservation. It is designed to foster deep connection, reflection, and collaboration through dialogue, art, and storytelling.

The session will open with indigenous and local leaders sharing their visions of a flourishing future and their perspectives on reimagining conservation. Through stories, songs, and lived experiences, they will guide us in grounding our collective voice. All those present will then be invited to bear witness and contribute to a living offering of objects and symbols from territories around the world that embody the values and hopes of this shared journey.
