Birds are messengers of peace and aptly demonstrate our interconnectedness across continents. During this event, BirdLife International will share diverse global voices of hope calling for a nature-positive future.
We are united by nature, as exceptionally displayed by migratory birds. But the pathway to nature-positive societies and living in peace with nature remains fraught with obstacles and wariness by some. Continuing a tradition launched at CBD COP15, BirdLife International will showcase diverse voices from across the world including COP16 delegates to demonstrate that by coming together and sharing positive expectations for the future, we can inspire others and push for the changes necessary to happen at scale. In an intimate fireside setting, BirdLife International will deliver the collected messages of hope to the Canadian and Columbian CBD COP Presidencies.
