The Nature Conservancy presents a panel exploring how landscape-scale initiatives in Colombia and the Latin America region are leveraging place-based supply-chain strategies to achieve effective, durable conservation.
TNC recognizes that durable change occurs when initiatives are scaled to entire ecological systems, maximizing conservation and management outcomes regionally and nationally. This often runs counter to commodity-specific supply-chain strategies taken by companies. Here, TNC highlights the importance of landscape approaches for meeting corporate nature and climate goals. This will be followed by discussion of landscapes as levers for creating opportunities and addressing challenges facing Latin America, featuring a range of stakeholders critical to its conservation and development. By rooting this discussion in the host nation of Colombia and the broader region, we expect to catalyze interest and action.
