(Invite Only) Making Peace Between Food and Nature: High Level Country Dialogue on Incorporating Food Systems in NBSAPs

A workshop focused on exploring how to learn from and scale Food Forward NBSAPs, followed by an evening reception. Organised by the Food and Land Use Coalition (including WRI), WWF, Climate Focus, GAFF and the NDC Partnership with members of the Alliance of Champions for Food Systems Transformation (ACF).
Food production and consumption are key drivers of biodiversity loss. However, few NBSAPs commit to a holistic transformation of the food system. The current round of revisions is critical to ensure sufficient global ambition aligned with planetary boundaries ahead of 2030. Member countries of The Alliance of Champions are leading the way in ensuring NBSAPs take a holistic approach to food systems, supported by a host of civil society partners and coordinated by the NDC Partnership and NBSAP Accelerator. In this session we will share best practice examples of Food Forward NBSAPs and discuss how these can be replicated and scaled to accelerate the transition.
