Big Room
Supply chain traceability is a major hurdle for corporates trying to achieve nature-positive outcomes. This session will explore the challenges of tracking nature impacts in complex supply chains and discuss how corporates and financiers can iteratively move towards increasing the proportion of their value chain that is traceable, engaging material value chain stakeholders on the need to apply entry level (at least) and standard (recommended) metrics for nature. We will cover: 1. The importance of tracking nature positive outcomes at location-level, in order to ensure credibility, manage greenwashing and misinformation 2. The importance of value chain actors and other stakeholders in creating an enabling environment for incentivising a ‘race to the top’
Hear from three companies from across the globe on their learnings from completing value chain nature assessments and discuss the challenges and solutions to measuring state of nature in value chains. For more info and to register for entry, please click here.
