Expectations for businesses on human rights and the environment have largely evolved separately. However, norms and requirements for companies to address human rights and environmental harms across their supply chains are evolving.

In this context – and in recognition of the fact that a continued dislocation of nature action from human rights will create unintended negative consequences, this session will:

Bring together the human rights and nature spaces;
Showcase latest thinking and guidance for companies on implementing effective human rights due diligence with an environmental perspective;
Share lessons learned and encourage further action.
