Over the past eight years, debt conversion projects in the Seychelles, Belize, Barbados, Gabon, and Ecuador have unlocked ~$850 million in conservation funding in support of commitments to conserve ~2 million km2 of critical ocean habitats–but their potential is so much Ushering in the next generation of debt conversion projects will require a radical, new collaboration.
