Creating new partnerships to reform Environmentally Harmful Subsidies (EHS) and implement GBF Target 18

Small Room

An invite-only closed round table discussion among public and private sector actors to explore smart solutions to overcome barriers to Environmentally Harmful Subsidies (EHS) reform and implement GBF Target 18. Led by The Capitals Coalition.

This round table will convene key leaders from public and private actors to explore new ideas to overcoming barriers to EHS reform, identify key elements for a successful reform, and explore a new public-private partnership to design and pilot a joint reform approach (by creating a public-private EHS Reform Playbook) and harnessing the power of frontrunning governments with that of leading businesses.

The aim of the roundtable is to also inspire future collaboration among participants on EHS reform and implementation of GBF Target 18.
