Building momentum for youth priorities toward 30×30 and BBNJ ratification, a nature positive path to UNOC3

The voices and leadership of young ocean advocates are critical to advancing ambitious ocean protections and creating a nature positive future. Through this interactive roundtable session, youth leaders will dialogue with government ministers to elevate youth perspectives in support of the 30×30 ocean goal while highlighting best practices for young people to play a meaningful role in advancing ocean protection policies through their official delegations. The discussion-based format of this event will allow youth and government officials to work together to outline shared priorities for action, including a focus on building momentum for BBNJ ratification, in the lead-up to UNOC3.
