The Nature Conservancy brings together country delegates and private sector representatives to facilitate dialogue on how countries can contribute to country NBSAPs and the targets of the GBF.
Practical guidance is needed to support companies in developing action plans and monitoring, evaluation, and learning strategies that “roll up” in support of the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) and National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs). COP16 presents an opportunity to bridge the gap between public and private sector action, which threatens the collaboration needed to address the biodiversity crisis. TNC is hosting a workshop for government and private sector representatives to pilot concrete steps to support companies in aligning with the GBF through evidence-based biodiversity-focused planning and progress tracking. Participants will help shape a forthcoming toolkit on this topic.
