As transition mineral demand surges and supply chains expand exponentially, it is critical to ensure transparency and responsibility across the transition mineral supply chain to secure the protection of ecosystems and local communities.
This event will unite Indigenous People leaders with businesses, policymakers and other stakeholders to support IP&LC rights and environmental stewardship through an accountability ecosystem approach to the responsible sourcing of transition minerals. It will explore business practices and policy changes that enhance corporate accountability for transition minerals, bridging global and local actions. Also, this session will discuss stakeholder roles in integrating rights-based and market-based approaches.
